“We are very successful with our blowers for steam compression. Since we are striving for further growth in this area, we want to concentrate our attention and our resources more on it in the future," explains Christoph Böhnisch, who manages Piller's business together with Stephan Merkel. "Therefore, in consultation with the shareholders, we decided to sell our hot gas circulator business to Karl Klein Ventilatorenbau GmbH." The takeover of the division, which includes two fan series, will take place on June 1, 2023.

"We were looking for a buyer who could continue to serve existing business partners with reliability and high quality and ensure the necessary continuity," adds Stephan Merkel. “We have already sold another business unit to Karl Klein in the past. We were able to establish a goal-oriented, trusting cooperation and are therefore certain that we have found the best solution.” Karl Klein Ventilatorenbau GmbH, based in Aichwald near Stuttgart, is a medium-sized family-owned company with over 70 years of tradition in the world market. With the integration of our hot gas circulator series, Karl Klein is expanding its own product range upwards in the range of services. The transition process with training, the handing over of the technical documents and the necessary instructions on production has already begun.

“Of course, we will not lose any jobs. We use the freed-up employees and their skills for our ever-growing business with blowers for steam compression,” emphasizes Christoph Böhnisch. "And we are creating additional jobs here in the region with our growth."
