TECHNICAL PRODUCT DESIGNER

Machine and system construction

Technical product designers (m/f/d) implement ideas graphically and build 3D models. Two disciplines are distinguished: product design and construction as well as machine and system construction. At PILLER you will be trained as a technical product designer (m/f/d) for machine and system construction. So you are involved in the development and customization of our systems and machines. The CAD system Creo Elements Direct Modeling will be your daily work tool. In the design process, you take into account the basics and standards of mechanical engineering. Based on this, you create 3D data sets and drawings of components and assemblies as well as the associated technical documents.

Training at PILLER:

As a prospective technical product designer (m/f/d), you will be employed in your specialist department in your first year of training. Prior to joining your designated department, you will spend the first few months with all trainees in the first year of training in our PILLER training center. There you will get to know the special features of a metals-processing company and learn everything about PILLER. You will then go through the work areas of design and research & development. There you will mainly work with the CAD system Creo Elements Direct Modeling, but you will also get to know other software tools.

Together with your colleagues you will help to develop the best fitting machines for the needs of our customers. With the help of the experienced team members, you will grow into the demanding tasks step by step and take on your own small (partial) projects in development.
